Hey, quick question. How do I set up a track so that my singer's listening to some reverb and compression on his vocals, but none is getting recorded in Pro Tools? I know i can do this without having to record 2 tracks at a time.

I am assuming that you have an LE system.
Effects do not get recorded, unless you return them to an aux track and enable record on that track.
Set up an aux send on your channel, assign that to the appropriate output on your interface. Insert a plug on your channel and he will hear it. Your other option is to set up an aux channel like I told you before, and run an aux on that channel.
You are going to have latency, depending on the plugs used, it could be great, it could be small. So you might have to nudge your vocal tracks back, because he is hearing them late.
