I recently bought a 17" 1.67 Ghz G4 Power Book with OSX10.3.9 and a gig an half of ram. I've installed my PURCHASED copy of Nuendo 2.0 on the laptop and all updates. As of yet I have not purchased and interface for this computer, therefore the software is here on it's own for the moment.

The problem is that when I start up the software, it starts up, I go into the file menu and select a new project, create the folder, select the empty template, and right before the editor window loads up, I recieve an error message stating ; "Samplerate could not be set. This may be due to the sampleclock being set to external sync."

So, I've looked in the Sync. Setup menu, and sifted through the devices menus, and I'm not finding the reasoning behind this error message. Any suggestions? I've never run into this one running the program on my PC. Thank you in advance.

Change you sync to internal, it's probably freaking out when it doesn't receive data from an external source.

My sync in osx audio/midi control panel was set to internal, and as far as I could tell in Nuendo, my program is set up fine. this error message happens right after i choose a new project from an empty template, before the edit window even appears. Bah! Suggestions?
