Hi,
I am recording 8 tracks live into Cubase SL2.0. Latest version, Mac Os 10.3.5, Edirol FA101 soundcard.
The problem is, that after a minute or so one of the tracks always randomly slips - i.e., misses a millisecond or two and then picks up recording with a lag behind the rest.
Short of going back in and physically finding the exact slip point & moving it, this has rendered me useless.
I have tried every combination of settings in the VST Multitrack window including setting audio to Very High priority which seemed to fix it for a while, but now its back worse than ever.
Could disk space / arrangement be a factor? Does anyone know of a good defragmentation program for Mac OS X / Unix framework?
All help appreciated,
J
