I have an EMU 0404 card and am running my Roland Super JV1080 into the input...but I get this annoying feedback sound:

I don't have this problem when I use a mic for the input at all...I don't have this problem when I input my roland jv sound module into an amp either...

my brother is having the same problem with his Ensoniq ASR sampler/module...it is fine directly into an amp...but when into HIS computer, we get a feedback noise...a little different than my jv1080, but it is annoying...now we bought a cheap radio shack 4 track mixer, but we still get the feedback...the mic input is fine for him though...just like it is for me and my computer...

I am wondering what this can come from? we have bought new wires and no luck...could there be other interference? is it normally a problem taking a module directly into a computer input?

one thing I should ad, I have never had this problem before until now. Not with my Sound Blaster Audigy 2 nor my EMU 0404.
