I use a PC with Wavelab pretty much exclusively (Sound Forge sometimes, although I like Wavelab better). I really like the spectralizer that comes with Wavelab for adding clarity and definition. I was wondering if there were any other DX pluginsthat do the same thing with more control over the frequency, ie used in the lower harmonics as well the upper ones. The Wavelab spectralizer only goes as low as 1000hz, I was looking for something that would get into the mids a little more.

I do have the gold bundle, and I agree it is one of the best. I also use some of the timeworks stuff a lot, especially the compressorx plug, which I really like. Also one of my favs is the lowband lineq for touching up the bottom end. Wasn't sure about anything for low mid harmonics. I have a pair of mackie 824's and am waiting for an hrs120 sub that has been on back order since july 10th. Can't wait to see what that does to the low end perception on my system (since I'm a bass player at heart). Thanks for the reply. If anybody else knows of a plug-in that is close to what I'm looking for I'd love to hear about it.

Hi Tim,
I too love the spectralizer, it really can add some shine to the mix. But I believe thats just what it's for is to add high-end presence. I'm not shure if it would do anything below 1K, don't know for sure?? Do you have the Waves Gold Bundle? There are someplug-insthere that are absolute life savers, arguably the best plugins available to date!!
Here is a link to the Wavelab forum, there are some very helpful people there. And the guys who developed WL are the moderators.
