whats up everybody!

I'm a newbie here and was wondering if anybody is using an 01V96 digital mixer with Cubase SX? I just purchased my mixer a couple of months ago and read the manual. Pretty good details in the book but for some reason (And I'm sure its in front of my face) I can't get any levels in my Cubase from a channel on the mixer I got a mic on. I just want to experiment effects with some vocals. I coould here myself on the mic through my monitors but I don't get a signal in cubase. Can somebody please advise :?:
