Hi all: This is my first posting on this forum.
I am impressed with the quality and professionalism of the participants! I want to ask Stephen Paul or others what they think of the Ward-Beck (470D, I believe)that Dave Thomas puts together as a pair. I bought one from him about 6 months ago and absolutely love it! Of course, I can only compare it to the others I have -Grace Design 101, PreSonus MP-20, Focusrite Penta.

My assessment is that the WB sounds better to my ears; the GD is ultra clean but I find it a bit "thin" on my instrument (Trumpet); the MP-20 is good but sounds a bit "veiled" as compared to the WB; the Penta is very good too, but just doesn't quite reach the WB sound...

So, how would the WB compare to the "big boys" i.e. Great River, etc.?
