I'm actually debating on a new front end for now, damn fireface should have been in stock ohhh well, ok theirs the digimax, Mackie 800r, maudio octane, b-ringer ada8000 and few others on budget prices. Which of these deserve the shot, thanks.
some of us also use the Alesis Ai3 in addition to the B 80000,
it to is a relatively ADDA, found cheap on the second hand market.
Both contain WaveFront chips as do many other units both cheap and expensive.
you can always mutilate your sound with bad Mics and Mic-pres and bad techniques and methods if you like.
