Ok, my pair of 7506's have been crackling lately. nothing too extreeme though. i only use these headphones to listen to music on my computer because I'm away at school which = not much studio time :( but anyway, what are the symptoms of a 'deadphone'? thanks.
You may just have a lose wire or a bad connection in the plug. I
You may just have a lose wire or a bad connection in the plug. If you are handy with a soldering iron you can put a new plug on the phones in about 15 minutes. If you are not handy with a soldering iron maybe you have a friend that can do it.
