Im looking to get a Behringer ub1202 for my home setup...just to run guitar and vocal mics...any thoughts...and if ya disagree, any suggestions up to $150...thanks

for the price the Behri UB series isn't too bad. I have a UB120
for the price the Behri UB series isn't too bad. I have a UB1204 I use sometimes myself.
In the same price range though you might have a looks at the Soundcraft compact 4 and 10. They're a little quieter IMO and actually have a useable EQ section that's a little more "musical".

BUT, it served well enough for the price! At the time, the Soundcraft Compact 4 wasn't available. If it was, and going back in time, I would have gotten the Compact 4-- even if the quality of the preamps is similar, I like the way that the Compact 4 is more suited to home studio in terms of its list of features.

They're pretty low-end sounding mixers but for that price, you're not going to get anything *good*. The Pre's are a tad harsh, but not so bad that they're useless. Other than that, i've never had any issues. Take care of it and it'll last you until you can afford to upgrade.
