For years I've been toying with the idea of expanding our community software. I'd like to give members more freedom to have their own blogs, self promote outside the forum. There finally might be a solution to do this so I'm wondering how many people would find this interesting?

I think this would be great. It would give a chance for more longform articles, that can be referenced/categorized, instead of lost in the weeds. There have been wonderful explanations by people like Rod, and all the regulars, that are tough to dig up.
Ive gotten in the habit recently of screenshots and pasting links into a master list of useful info.
There have been some truly masterful words written here over the years that really should be referenced more.
The ability to upload .pdf and even .wav would be welcome. Having listened only to the mp3 version of my bandcamp collection, i actually notice the diff with the .wav version on the memory card i just installed. I understand bandwidth might be an issue on the .wav.
