Is it feasable to use a rack mount case instead of a tower for a daw? I want to build a system that is compact and portable. With all the interfaces available with dsp chip sets, cooling should not be a problem right? :confused: Has anyone used a ego-system WAMi interface? If so what do you think? I want midi and analog, and this is one of the few I've seen that has both. The whole system including 2 hard drives,(20G OS 60G for recording) mother board, processor and interface can't cost more than $1800.00.
