I'm trying to figure out how to use a synth, and it's freakin frustrating as hell! It's a Korg X5DR, got it used. Before using it I did the factory reset, I think I messed up a bunch of presets, but whatever, I'll have more fun making my own sounds on there.

It has 10 buttons and like 50 FX and different functions... and the manual SUCKS

Not to mention I have to make it work with Pro Tools...

So frustrated I want to punch a wall or something...

I've studied MIDI and recording at my university, but no class has prepared me for this...

any suggestions where I can look for answers?
