I have found a DDA 16 track m-series mixing desk which i can buy for around £400 but there isn't much information on this desk on the internet. It comes without a manual and so i am unaware of the specifications.
Can anyone help me out, tell me what you know about the desk etc... is this a good deal?
Thank you

DDA made some very nice audio production boards. They were British, mostly compact in design, and popular in mobile production trucks in the 80s and 90s. I have mixed on some back then(mainly live recording events), and they had a very solid "feel".I believe that DDA was a part of KlarkTeknik, and the quality of their products was quite good. In the States, their distributor was the E-V distributor, which is now Telex and they picked up Midas and dropped DDA. You might check with the KlarkTeknik distributor in your country and see if you can get some documentation and maybe a spare parts source from them.
The price sounds like a decent deal IF you can get it serviced where you are. The audio performance of the desks was quite good in their time, as was the reliability. But "stuff happens" to gear like that over time, and you might be getting over your head with a "lemon" .
