My 1180 has many different distortions. I just can't seem to get the sound that I want. I want a "bass-y, punchy" sound. This type of distortion is available but only at lower volumes.
When ever I edit a patch and increase the volume, I get a lot of static. Especially the palm-muted stuff. I've even tried writing my own patches but get the same results.
I thought it might be my headphones. It isn't. I mastered a piece, burned it on CD and played it on several different things and it still sounds staticy.
I'm fairly new at this and any help would be appreciated. :?
