Hi all !
I'm mixing a Trailer for theatres in Argentina, and I can't find out the EQ and type of compression for voice over talent trailers.
The trailers sounds amazing and the voice over talents so much, Any ideas to find out that sound quality ?
I'm working in Pro Tools HD 3, PRE I/O, Avalon, Genelec Monitors, etc.
Its all about having the right talent on the right mic. Pro VO
Its all about having the right talent on the right mic.
Pro VO people are pretty much self compressing, and need little or no EQ.
There is no "magic" formula. Use compression and eq sparingly, only as needed for the program. The only constant is a LPF at at 80 or above as VO can not bleed into the subs.
