Anyone using DP to sweeten their Final Cut Pro audio tracks? Do the the two programs complement one another or would I be better off using Pro Tools LE? Love to hear from you as I'm an audio novice. Thanks.

I use PT free on my FCP machine for audio duties but them I'm an Alishad Jedi.

Demo both programs first, then buy.

My vote is don't spend and use the free .. PTfree.
8 tracks is enough to get started and soon it will be more. The Mbox will soon ship with 32 tracks and this will give a good Mic-pre for Voice overs and with SSC or any of the Soft Synths you will have a good music production tool.

Either way both DP and PT are favoured in the post industry so it could be good to learn about both programs.

Kev,
not usually over this side or RO.
