hey could someone give me the specifications for a good reliable firewire external hard drive?
i read it before on here but its so hard to find one post on this site.

i remember,,,,, i think someone saying it has to be 7200rpm
but not sure of any other specifics,,,,,,that said would a 800rpm not work properly?
heres a link with 7200rpm 1TB hardrive,,,,,,,would this be accptable?

You won't find any that are 800 rpm. The majority of store bought drives are 5400 rpm. I prefer to build my own using Seagate SATA drives and these enclosures.
