partial true, but my 002 too a shit today. and i cant help but upgrade do to the rapid growth. the light pipe input is not working corectly and a get a burst f static sometimes, i called digi tech support and they told me it is def the 002. i had to take advantage of the opportunty. i gots the hook up. i would never pay 13,000!!!!!!! :lol:

put the card in the computer and connect the 96i/o and midi....

and rtfm..... 8-)

that's about all I did ??
then
added the lightpipe interface to the 96i/o
added the usb control panels through the hub.

choose a port for each midi module and start patching the synths.

I don't recall any problems ... just OSX sucks.

it sounds pretty simple. i am just very nervous about handling a 10,000 set of pci cards.
I am running le 7.0 and have been running 6.4-6.7-6.9 for about a year with no probems besides the intial start up with al the drivers and shit. i am guessing my pc will be fine i hope i dont have to spend hours downling asio drivers and all that crap like last time. should be worth it though coming today or tommorow

the wierd part is that i have heard so many different opinions on the old pc/mac thing. People say pc's are faster but less finiky, then other people say the oposite. idont think there is a plausible and definite answer to which is BETTER. i realy think it come sdown to knowing the pc.mac, software and how they interface

and some applications are only on one platform, so there is no choice anyway

and the combination of your applications, upgrades and the associated bugs and their managment
is the main issue
