Do both of these mics sound the same in cardoid mode? Is the only difference in these mics the choice of multi patterns or is it a completely different design?
I could be mistaken, but I believe the U99 uses a B.L.U.E. B6, which makes for a C12 (CK12) type sound, and the U95S uses a B.L.U.E. B7 capsule, which makes for a more U47 (M7, KK47) type sound. Whats your application? They both would make great vocal mics, I would rather have the B7 capsule for instrument use though
