I have been using Cubase to do some MIDI sequencing. I want to save to a standard MIDI file that when played, turns OFF the reverb and chorus on my sound module. I have not been able to get this done!

My sound module is a Roland PMA-5 in GM/GS mode. I have tried using a mix track, and loading the GS (I've tried both that come with cubase) mixer map. Selecting 'write', changing all the reverb and chorus controlls to off, and saving the track. When I play it back, the chorus and reverb are on.

I want to record each midi track on a seperate audio track, and add reverb during mixdown.
