Hi, I was hoping someone could help me figure this out. I have an m-audio 2496 that I have used before without problems. I built a new computer and transferred the card to it about 3 months ago. I just tried to start recording again using Sonar, but now every time I record something it has this strange bump/warble sound to it. I recorded a really tiny mp3 as an example: http://www.sendspac…"]Download ihatesonar.mp3 from Sendspace.com - send big files the easy way[/]="http://www.sendspac…"]Download ihatesonar.mp3 from Sendspace.com - send big files the easy way[/]
I don't have this problem when I use Audacity or other programs like Skype. Does anyone have any suggestions for settings or whatever else I could try to fix this?
Thanks
Check that you do not have software monitoring enabled in Sonar.
