Ok, I've gotten what I consider the nicest board I'm likely to have in the next couple of decades. I bought a Tascam DM-4800. I bought it with the main purpose of being able to send 32 channels back and forth to CUbase with the optional firewire card. SOme how, I cant seem to get the drivers installed. Forgive me for this but it's a lot to type so I'm going to paste the thread I posted on another forum in hopes that it will click with someone here. Here is the post:
