This seller answered all of my questions about model numbers, brand etc. He's selling UJ8XX series burners new for a good price, IMO. I got a UJ870QJ from him for $79 free shipping and it's working great!
Altho he is in Taiwan, I got the burner in appx a week, all in new packaging as a new product should be. If you're looking to upgrade to DVD, this seller has the burners that work, more UJ870 DVD burners here!

I also installed a 120GB Seagate Baraccuda model#ST3120026A-RK with average seek times of 8.5ms. Took it about 11 hours to format into 11, 11.45GB partitions.

I've been running my VS2480 thru its paces all morning and every thing is running great.
