some questions I have:

1.)I'm thinking of getting a mac to use for recording, softsynth performance,graphic stuff, running applications like Pro Tools LE, Reason, etc . I already have the Mbox. Any models/configurations/setups that are known to work well? Can I use an ibook?

Or is now a bad time to get a mac lap top because of the intel chip switchover?

2.)are there any other websites/forums that deal with music making on mac laptops that someone might recommend?
