Im looking into getting a I/O Interface for my PC (hopefully a notebook down the track) and have been told the MOTU 828MKII's are good. I've noticed there is now a MOTU traveller which is not that much more expensive.

Can you please tell me the practical differences. Appart from the traveller doing max 192k instead of 96k.

Basically I'm setting up my studio from scratch. I play the guitar and am hoping to record myself (and some mates) intorprating some loops, etc. I also intend on getting a MIDI keyboard to do some work with which will connect to the I/O Interface.

I will be using CUBASE SX3 as the software package on a Pentium based computer.

Also if you have any other recommendations that are as good as or better than the MOTU range let me know. :)
