For multitrack recording from the MX2442A mono channels you need to use the channel insert jacks as direct outs. The diagram in section 7.1 of the MX2442A manual shows how to wire TRS jack plugs to achieve this. You get an unbalanced, line-level signal out.

If you're asking what I think you are asking, you would use the same method of using the inserts to extract the signals. If you want to run the second mixer as well as do recording, you would need to split the sends from the insert jacks to go to both the interface and the second mixer.
