Hello. This is my first post on this board but i have been reading it a lot for a while and it has been very helpful to me.

Here's my problem:
I'm recording my own band, and i do it in logic platinum 5.2. And i really don't like the bassdrum, not the sound itself, just the way it's unequal.. sometimes there's a lot of punch and sometimes not so i started thinking about sound replacement.. but you cant do that manually in logic (or at least i haven't found a way..).

So: Are there any free sound-replacement plugins around? or some website where i could download like some 30 day trial version of something. I've never used a soundreplacement plugin (normally just do it manually in pro-tools..) so i don't know any names or anything.
I actually found a midi drum trigger in that "free plugins" thread on this board but that doesn't work in logic. Something like that that would work in Logic would also do the job, preferably a VST drum trigger since i'm not experienced with midi..

We need this done as soon as possible (supposed to send the final mix to our label by feb 1st). So any help at all would be greatly appreciated..
