HI Guys,

was wondering does Mike (aka shipps) still visit this forum, I remember a while back we were lucky enough to have him reply to a thread I posted about the vocals on the hysteria album and am now wondering what his approach was on this nickelback track as far as bass is concerned.

Then again, wouldnt mind getting info from him about the whole damn mix! But the bass on that track got my attention, pretty much every note is nearly the exact same volume (compression/limiting magic) and eq wise its really tough sounding and warm.

Does anyone have any info on this particular recording? Shipps, are you out there mate?
