I have a laptop with which I use Cubasis VST with, and I have a Tascam US-122 and a Behringer 12 channel/4 preamped input mixer, and a couple AKG hyper cardoids and a mxl condenser and some dynamic mics, ive done a couple demo projects with my band, but i cant seem to get a rid of the live sound of my drum set
am i better off getting drum mics with a couple overheads, because right now i'm mic-ing it at like a foot away from each drum, Id like to hear some opinions or suggestions on how i could get a more studio sound and if i would need any other kind of equipment to do so. thanks.
