Having invested in EZDrummer, and using Rapier downloaded sequencer program for it, next question is. .do i need an interface between the studio and computer or can i run straight outta the headphone socket into the studio, this way has worked for playing mp3 files but i dont know if this recording sequencer business will do the same ?
I guess you might ask me about the quality of the soundcard in the computer...i have no idea whats even in there or if i need one, whatever it is !...yes i am a real dullard when it comes to this computer stuff!

I also have been looking at a midi usb connection for the set up as well, anyone recommend one.

Just dont wanna keep shelling out for stuff if its not compatible or even required.

I am only using the laptop to create the drum loops...thats it.
