Hello...
I'm looking for a couple of powered monitors in the $250 price area. Initially, I was looking at the m-audio dx5 and I wanted to hear other thoughts.
Unfortunately, I'm using to working on tannoy reveals, so I assume there will be a noticable difference, but I'm not ready to spend $500+ at the moment.
These won't be used for mixing music, so I doubt the range and power is quite as much of an issue.

there are also the 8.1´s with an 5´´ woofer but the price difference isnt too much and i did buy the 8.2´s with 6,5`` woofer´s.
did hear that esi did present at namm new near05 ´s also with kevlar woofers for around 250 euro / dollar. -> esi near05 expirience
but didn´t heared them and can´t tell you how they are.
