Well, in canadian local stores perhaps, when you bought them.

In the states, a new pair of the behinger's in question (2030A)
were going for US$280.00 (about 338 canadian) on musiciansfriend.com as of march 2005, and eligible for free shipping.

Not to say i'd recommend either monitor in particular for your application, but you should always qualify and check facts before posting :)

Behinger HAS made cheap products for sure, but once in a while they make a decent one for an exceptional price. Early 90's era compressors of theirs are a good example. I havent heard these monitors yet, but I might pick up a pair for my girlfriend's apartment so she can monitor her vocal practices at home. If i do, ill post back about it.

I mixed classical music at a local studio in dallas for 7 years before getting my BSEE.
