I bought three mics for about $15 a while ago. They sound great and i feel like i got a deal, although they're obviously not from this decade. Anyway, they are Sony ECMs models ecm-270 (200z condensor), ecm- 250 (cardioid condensor), and another i can't remember because it's being borrowed, but it's an omni. So what's the deal with these? Are they any good in the scheme of things, because they sure sound great. As a side note, they have weird plugs, like some sort of mini-xlr. What's with that?

The weird connectors may be DIN plugs ...
I am guessing the model numbers "ECM" stand for "electrit condensor microphone" ...
