I have tried all the workarounds to avoid just reinstalling I know of,to try. I mean its really ho-hum for me by now, or,that is not such a big deal, I just always try to avoid it for some reason..I always have backed-up that which I wish to retain..

So, nuff'odat... See I now have, as a major reason to have this pc I'm talkin bout...simply to play my Garritan Personal Orchestra program I have recently aquired.. and I have assembled a separate pc..as per suggestion..(GPO), to use for the running of recording and sequencing applications, etc...And I "shant" "go there"...regarding this operation and its bugs starting out has to go with it as a "characteristic"

This post, I mean to ask for advise regarding simply like maybe a poll, I donno.. just do you think I should just reformat. since my GPO app simply causes crashes.. each time I try to use it...BUT THATS THE ONLY TIME mostly.. of course I have had crashes other wise..yes its true.. but I am OK for the most part.. I mean I have opted to acquire the "Registry First Aid".. and whether its the reason or not things are largely cool, til I try and enable GPO...who's to say/ no matter to me... .but the "playing of this orchestral library...thats the reason this pc "IS"...to play GPO...So this is an issue I will continue and postpone if I can find a way to stop the crashes when i try to play the orchestral library. . Anybody with any advice?

PS there is the issue I want not to be THE issue of this post, regarding this horrible fact I was all" swallow the bait" heeding the claims of the merchant how the Kontakt player "bundled" with your package you buy, is totally the "bomb", when what I'm now sure truly would be properly characterised this way is the FULL VERSION KONTAKT PLAYER ...ON SALE FROM NI. .iN OTHER WORDS

sorry In other words I cant' wait to be able to afford the full version, because I believe thats when the locks put on my midi controller by this stuff i am now hooked to.. will amazingly go away..

see I never have trouble with my midi controller until I enable GPO for some strange reason...

I am just aching to hear some intellectual response to my issue here, even if I get my ass flamed if I can learn something is all i care about

DO YOU RECKON I ONLY HAVE TO REFORMAT AS AN OPTION?

Jbon...

No offense, but if you describe your problem a little more clearly, without all the other philosophical commentary, we could probably help you better. I'm not sure what your problem is, except that GPO crashes your PC. But is it your main PC or a dedicated PC?

When does it crash? Did it from the git-go, or did you change something?

Windows has a system rollback (registry restore) utility, so anything you install can be uninstalled and your system restored to previous config very easily.
