Toft makes the ATB
Trident 8T is out there too.

Its funny the whole Oram versus Toft thing.

They both developed the Trident series 80 board, which was kind of like the original low budget board back in the 70's. But now they are fighting it out, basically selling the same product.

All I know is I had the chance to try out a Oram 4t strip which has the same pre's as the trident 8T. It was nice, but a little too colored for my taste. Inside the build quality was terrible, it looked like a prototype. I personally will not buy a Trident product because of it. It just says to me the quality is not important to Oram.

I don’t know much about Toft, although I have heard good things. If you like the Joe meek stuff (which Toft designs) you may like the ATB.

Worth Checking out.
