Gotta love Microsoft...

This issue occurs because Windows XP does not support the USB 2.0 specification.

This behavior is by design.

LOL, It was designed not to work! :D

Imagine the Chinese scratching their heads over in Taiwan " umm Microsoft says its not supposed to work, so if we fix it, it won't be working"

The thing about XP not supporting 2.0 is that they are not doing the embedded drivers like they did in Win2k...USB 2.0 does work it's just that you need the drivers...silly Bill Gates...
Don't know why they went with the Firewire support over USB 2.0....since Gigafire is coming out soon(800Mbits per second which translates to 100 megaBYTES per second :D
