I've been recording spoken word tracks with mixed but steadily improving results.

Thus far I've been using a Boss digital studio and been fairly happy with it but I think I want to switch to a usb interface.

Probably a rackmount as I'll be migrating all my gear to a set of flightcases over the next year.

I'm just fishing for some recommendations for something simple and sturdy. Inclusive software would be a big plus as would a manual or the availability of a manual.
