When you are posting a computer problem or potential computer problem you need to do a few things for us.

1-What brand and model of computer is it.

2-What operating system do you have and is it up to date.

3-What type of interface are you using and is it Firewire or USB.

4-How much ram do you have,

5-Do you have an external hard drive (usb or firewire) or a secondary internal hard drive.

6-Have you tried tweaking the operating system from any of the many posted lists.

I may modify this list as occurs to me from answering questions in the forum(s).
