where do you guys think these stand up to the Neumanns, Gefells, AKG, AT's and all the other mics that get spoken to around here. My singer recorded his old album using a Dragonfly and it sounded pretty sweet. That, also coupled with the fact that Focusrite sells that deal with the Trackmaster along with the Baby Bottle for under $800, or something? I might be wrong about that...but does anyone in here use Blue's, and if so, do ya like them?
I also know there is a wide range of models...but are they solid mics?

Blue Mics are absolutely quality professional gear. As with any mic, some models work better for certain instruments/singers than others. I have owned or own the dragonfly, and two BLUE mouse mics. I would love to have a kiwi or a bottle. the dragonfly is great but can be a bit too sibilant on some singers. experiment with changing the axis of the mic head to adjust for this (sometimes it works great). i have used it on certain vocalists with stellar results. The mouse is another great choice- a little "meatier."

the blueberry is an amazing mic. i had the pleasure of having a roomate who owned both a bluberry and a dragonfly. i found myself writing the crapiest excuses for songs just so i could use them. the presence and clarity of the blueberry is ridiculous. the dragonfly, not so much, but i wouldnt turn one down. blue rocks, all there mics are handbuilt, right down to the screws, which i think is pretty cool. not to mention, they sound and look awesome, which leads to better performances.
