I need a mic specialy for vocal and acoustic guitar and I prefer huge vocal.I thought brauner velvet or soundelux u99 but,please can you tell me some other mics that can produce a huge vocal.I use Avalon 737sp.

The Soundelux U99 is a much more refined vocal mic than the U87.
The Soundelux U99 is a much more refined vocal mic than the U87. I love U87's...dont take this as an insult to one of the finest recording mics ever built.....but the U87 is like the everyman's mic.It does a lot of things well, and could in fact be a perfect choice for your voice.That being said, the 87 does not sound perfect on every voice while the U99 comes a lot closer. I have not heard the Valvet but through my associations have heard opinions and none have failed to be impressed with it.The Soundelux is always my pick..
