I bought an Edirol R-09 flash recorder a month ago and it has been a big hit around our house. My wife and daughter use it all the time for recording music lessons and practice sessions.

While I have facilities to edit the wav files on my setup, it would be nice if they had something inexpensive and simple to use on their machines. Nither of them have done much editing on my PT system. (I probably should get them to learn and this may be the motivation.)

Anyway, I'm looking an inexpensive, easy to learn piece of software that will take .wav files and allow us to
1. trim
2. fade
3. EQ
4. Compress
5. Limit
6. Reverb
Price is obviously an issue, but I'm willing to pay a few bucks for things like good documentation. If you can throw in conversion to MP3 that would be nice as well.
