hey all I thought I'd share this becasue it's probably very much how we will be communicating on there's forums in a few years. I pulled the trigger on the recolive switch app for $5. As owner of iPhone/pad it's gonna be perfect for my upcoming tutorials and media content starting next year.
This is really cool, both apps are from the same company and use identical interfaces, one is for streaming, one is for recording. The recolive switch is the recording one. The switcher studio, is the streaming. So the naming is a bit dyslexic, but hey, it allows you 30 min each day of FREE live streaming NSA. 1080p quality. The $2o-25 month is unlimited streaming.
I can't wait to get started and will probably do a quick test this week. Anyway here's a video. I'm sure there's an android equiveilant, or will be eventually. The quality of the iPhone is surprisingly good, and with decent lighting perfectly passable for youtubeography. Check it out. I'm sure there's some free alternatives too. It also allows you to use your Mac (hopefully pc soon, or at least in dual boot...) as an input, and it can accept audio from anything you can hook up to an iPhone/pad or computer for an interface.
