Fairlight Australia dropped a Satellite System off at my place yesterday for me to have a demo. Their Sales Manager, Graeme Whineray is coming round today to show me through it. I think I've got it for a week, so I'll be posting up here. if any body's interested in Fairlights new Dream series range.
First impressions?
It looks absolutely great on my desk, just sets the room off nicely. :) Looks really good against the rest of my gear, and gives out an ambience that makes me feel all warm inside.
Ah. life is good.

I expect Stedel is in a meditative level or Dream state at this point, colors flashing, regions, yoga, with careful and graceful movements on touch points specific to joy and fullfillment. Rendering art in the minds auditory channels. From this comes a barage of waves of carefully placed beams of light to perhaps one day share with others. The ones that enjoy the pits as well as the fruit, be it by the speed of light itself in a compressed form, or wide band, hand delivered onto the doorstep of your conciousness and homeland, where you find peace.

Ah Rick and ghoost...how did you know? With Dee Pak Chopra indeed I have considered and confirmed universal kharmic laws of wisdom, understanding..yes and of foolishnes. From the great god Shiva to that party favourate Kali, it has been indeed a Vedic odyssey..but now that awful spititual realm of loss and of facing the void (yes they took it back.. cold hearted Australian bastards...but I know where they live!!!!).

Do I have infantile feelings of anger that the universe isn't mine to control, and that I couldn't stop Fairlight from taking it?.....Well,..maybe. But... I'm listening to Dee Pak on this...(do not blind my self to false laws of universal scarcity... rpt. ten times every hour).
Folks, I'm sorry, but as Fairlight Forum Moderator, I feel duty bound to speak on my experience...probably at length. Was this a good experience? Fairlight leaving a Satellite with me for a week? Are you kidding?
So, I'll be posting topics that hopefully you'll find interest in, Fairlight user/owner/wannabee or not. The first will be about Fairlights A/D converters - which are their own.
But, before I go, a point about Dee Pak Chopra, the false laws of universal scarcity, and the space on my studio desk where the Fairlight was until last Friday.
When you send out those personal requests to the universal product consignement depot, you have to be very sopecific. I found this out when I first practiced Dee Pak's meditations in respect to getting a toaster (for toast - bread - not CD's). It's a long story, but basically I SHOULD have meditatated on a new, stainless steel, retro design chrome four slice toaster. We appreciated...kind of..the one that did manifest itself but....well, as I said, you have to be specific. So bottom line, sending out those vibes...I wanna Fairlight Dream system back on my desk. ASAP!!!!!!!!!
