Sharp is soon to release this pda
http://www.sharp.co.uk/pda/
that runs qt embedded, and kde embedded, and linux.
It is has no speaker, or mic, but has a 'headset' set of input/output. It also has USB.

While it probably wouldn't be the greatest A/D D/A, it does have a /dev/dsp! So, I'm going to work on an embedded version of my project khdrec2! :D

At least it could be a good looking note/message taker.

woooohooooo!

This is what I like to see, Im a linux nut, And let me tell you, there is nothing more humilating for me than to have to tell everyone "Im running in windows at the moment to do my recording"....

We all know that *nix smokes windows in preformance, but there is very little recording software that is supported by the linux platform (That I have found)

If your looking for testers ... Im all up for it.
