I'm Micing a bluegrass band in a live situation. what mics and where. ive got a pretty descent mic cabinet if you could just give large diaghragm / small diaghragm / dynamic i would appreciate it greatly. thanks, Jeremy :D
I am a big fan of Alison Krauss and Union Station ... I have noticed that they seem to be using the Shure KSM44 on almost all of their instruments except the fiddle when I see them on CMT. She is using one of the small diaphragm KSM-141/137/109 mics on the fiddle. I haven't been able to see what they are using on the Double Bass ....... Kurt
