I recently have bought a audio card for recording but I can't connect it to my 5.1 speakers as its a stereo card. So what I'm aiming to do is find a way so that the input is my new audio card and the output is the card built into my pc already... with out me having to keep switching between drivers. is there a way to get 2 different drivers to work together?
I would buy stereo monitors and not worry about it but i don't have any more money left to get them so I'm trying to trick the program into using 2 drivers simultaneously for input and output..
any one know how ?

But the program Neuendo does not allow me to have output drivers different to input so i have to keep changing from delta for recording and sound blaster for output so it gets tedious. Was hoping some one knew a clever way to get it set up in the program so that it would work.

Some host DAW software when using milticlient drivers, will allow you to choose which specific interface and driver is used for input and output. Some even let you use both WDM and ASIO at the same time.

i'm assuming that the card in question is a soundblather??? they dont seem to play well with others and are really made for gamers.... that being said i've heard of people haveing good(?) results with the drivers from asio4all... good luck...
