I am new to recording.org, but would like to include in my introduction a note about what a great experience I had purchasing my host card from Neikirk Audio. Before I found Neikirk no one would return my calls. I had a SSHDR-1 with no host card or cable and needed information, and then needed to purchase the card and cable. Bert was the only person that not only replied but spent time with me on the phone trying to help me out. I now own two SSHDR-1's- one fully loaded, and another that will soon be upgraded with all the options with the help of Neikirk Audio. I just about became a Pro Tools user but thanks to Neikirk Audio I am a very very happy SSHDR-1 user and will be well into the future. I had the opportunity to A/B Digi 01 next to soundscape and quickly realized that I had made the right decision without a doubt. Thanks Bert and Hello all.

Last week I was hired by Steve Coscia, my old boss from Ensoniq, to create a 30 minute audio tape about customer service. It was really refreshing to hear his ideas again--I'm really in his debt for the training I received from him over the years (and the tape project came out great! I hired a professional announcer for the voice-overs, and I created a custom music bed--Steve's thrilled with the results!)

Tell us more! How is it that a system created in 1993 is a better value than the latest in mass-marketing?

Thanks for your kind comments, Kevin!
