I took my son to Sam Ash for his first real kit. A birthday present. He blew apart the toy one he got for Christmas (takes after his guitar playin daddy)
On the way over, he was chuckling in the back seat,
"hey dad, you know what? When we're rock stars, all the girls are going to give us their autographs".
I couldn't reply 'cause I was laughing so hard.

He just turned five years old. LOL.

He walked into the drum room, played on everything there and said he wanted the silver/grey set. I know very little about drums. The drum guy there said he has good taste. Cool. Picked up the kit the next day, it even went on sale. Great vibes all around. The kit including hardware was $625.00.

Set it up, sounds real nice, I need to learn how to tune them, and get some quality cymbals.
