I have just a plain old standard C-media Ac' 97 audio card with a self containted 5 watt 3.5mm microphone input jack, basically just a very cheap sound card. I do have some money saved up, are there more expensive sound cards out there I could buy that would give superior quality or is it not worth it, it does sound quite good like it is, but in general is it not acceptable to use one of these cheap cards. and if not what would be a not expensive card but one that would still give that pro sound.
